History of BC's Offshore

This section will largely be composed of links to brief materials, such as timelines,  summarizing the extent of exploration and development in BC thus far.  More materials will be added shortly. 

  BC's First Oil Rig - The SEDCO135F 

The SEDCO135F was the first oil rig built in British Columbia. It was constructed by Victoria Machinery Depot Co. Ltd. between 1965 and 1967.
