The Transportation Safety Board has released its final report into the sinking of the Queen of the North. The Report and additional information can be found here.

CMLA Seminar "Carriage of Goods and Passengers in the 21st Century" at Vancouver June 9, 2008

The Canadian Maritime Law Association is hosting an open seminar at Vancouver on June 9, 2008 entitled "Carriage of Goods and Passengers in the 21st Century". All interested persons are invited to attend. Details and a Registration form can be found here. You can also attend the CMLA's annual general meeting to be held on June 10, 1998.

Please be advised that the Supreme Court of Canada has rendered its decision in the above noted matter which deals with arrest of cargo following a breach of a charter party by a shipper. The reasons can be found here.
