OUR FIRM

Giaschi & Margolis is a firm of litigation and commercial lawyers located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We have three partners, Christopher Giaschi, Robert Margolis and Elyn Underhill. We practice in affiliation with Thomas Cooper & Stibbard, an international shipping and trade law firm based in London, England and with offices around the world.

Our  litigation practice is primarily in the fields of insurance, maritime and transportation law. Our clients are mostly insurance companies who specialize in marine, cargo and transportation related insurance. A large part of our practice is subrogation on behalf of underwriters although we also do a significant amount of defence work.

Our commercial practice is primarily in chartering, International trade and ship building contracts.
